James Milne to renew sponsorship of agricultural shows
A leading north-east chartered accountancy firm will support some of the most popular agricultural shows in Aberdeenshire this summer.
James Milne will again sponsor the New Deer Show, Banchory Show and Turriff Show, as well as the Aboyne Highland Games.
It is the firm’s second year sponsoring the New Deer and Banchory shows. The New Deer Show takes place at Craigieford Park on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21 and the Banchory Show will be held at the town’s King George V Park on Saturday, July 27.
The following week, the Aboyne Highland Games will take place on Saturday, August 3 on the Aboyne Green.
The Turriff Show, Scotland’s largest two-day agricultural show will be held over Sunday, August 4 and Monday, August 5.
Partners and senior staff of James Milne will attend each of the events to meet existing clients and promote the business.
Michael Fotheringham, a partner at James Milne, said: “The leading agricultural shows in Aberdeenshire always attract tens of thousands of people, and we are keen to play our part to support such events in our communities.
“We opened an office in Banchory in 2016 and last year expanded our operation with a move to new premises on Raemoir Road, so the Banchory Show is an ideal way for us to support the area.
“James Milne has a strong reputation in the agricultural sector and we will enjoy going along to these events to meet with farmers and the many others who attend.”
